Application

The outdoor optical fiber street cabinet can accommodate passive and active equipments and can be configured for pure fiber or a combination of copper-fiber and for spliced, cross-connect and splitter applications to serve customer-specific needs.

The outdoor roadside cabinets are either metal or plastic enclosures, which serve as distribution/access points between the distribution fibre and the drop fibre to the subscriber. These are usually located to allow for relatively easy and rapid access to the fibre circuits and are capable of handling larger capacities than fibre joint closures.

The street cabinets are ideal to store PON splitters, which also require flexible connectivity to subscriber-dedicated fibres. Street cabinets are also used in point-to-point network architectures.

Outside fibre distribution cabinet. FTTX enclosures are designed to protect and manage fibre optic cable for broadband delivery in outdoor applications. Fibre street cabinet provides an environmentally secure high density fibre distribution points to supply FTTX services to the customers. It is well suited for different FTTx and PON network applications. Each enclosure consists of superior cable management in order to prevent the possibility of minimum bend radius violations.
